1. Definitions

"Service" means the bus, coach, or minibus hire booking facilitated by Global Bus Hire. "Operator" means the local transport company that provides the vehicle and driver. "Customer" means the person or organisation making the booking. "We/us/our" means Global Bus Hire.

2. The Nature of Our Service

Global Bus Hire is a booking intermediary. We arrange group transport by connecting customers with vetted local operators. The transport contract for the journey is between the customer and the operator. We are not the carrier.

We exercise due diligence in selecting and vetting operators, but we are not liable for the operational performance of individual operators beyond what is set out in these terms.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are estimates until confirmed in writing by us
  • Prices are fixed at the point of confirmed booking and will not change unless the itinerary changes
  • Prices include VAT where applicable, and the driver. They exclude gratuities, parking, road tolls, and border crossing fees unless stated otherwise
  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date issued

4. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation and a deposit or full payment is received. Payment terms are stated in your quote. We accept major credit cards, bank transfer, and PayPal.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before travel: Full refund minus a 5% administration fee
  • 15-30 days before travel: 50% refund
  • 7-14 days before travel: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before travel: No refund

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@globalbushire.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive written notice.

6. Changes to Bookings

Minor changes (passenger count within 10%, small time adjustments) can usually be accommodated at no charge. Major changes (date change, route change, vehicle category change) may incur additional costs or require a new quote. All changes must be agreed in writing before they take effect.

7. Passenger Conduct

The customer is responsible for the conduct of all passengers. Drivers may refuse to carry passengers who are behaving in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner. No refund is due in this circumstance. Any damage caused to vehicles by passengers is the financial responsibility of the customer.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of your booking. We are not liable for indirect losses, missed connections, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

All vehicles operated through our network are fully insured to the legal minimum required in the country of operation.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failures caused by events outside their reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, government action, strikes, or pandemics. In such cases we will offer rescheduling or a credit note.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law.
